XtGem offices & update #2

You were probably all wondering why it was all so silent regarding XtGem lately. Well, a lot has hapened behind the scenes during that time. Let me take a moment to fill you all in.

Biggest news is that we're expanding! Currently 6 people are working on XtGem and we have just opened our offices in Vilnius (capital of Lithuania). It's a cozy work environment that we've put a lot of thought and time to set up.

As for the staff, in addition to me, XtGem now employs 3 programmers, a dedicated systems administrator and a HR/PR person.
While it's still a considerably small team, it will allow us to constantly bring new features to our users and quickly react to feedback you guys give us.

As for XtGem2, we have two of the core libraries fully written and tested, which means that the hardest part is already behind us. To clarify the point of XtGem2, our first aim is to re-work the backend completely so that it's easy to maintain and expand. We don't plan to make any changes to the XtGem user experience that you all well know and love. After we're done with that, we'll launch a beta version and invite you guys to try it and let us know what you think of it - what's missing, what needs fixing and what could be improved. When we're happy with the product, we'll re-launch XtGem and deploy our new version for all users to enjoy.

A lot of existing and new XtGem users asked about PHP support in the new version. Although I can't disclose too much information regarding new features at the moment, I'd like to address that by saying that we're listening to your requests and nothing is impossible ;)

Stay tuned!

looking for some old school west coast beats, like c-bo, spice 1, e-40, mc eight, dj quick, the whole click, style, eotsmhing that goes hard like they all did back in the early 90z, late 80z. I love and respect dre, but a lot off producers on line try to ride on his coat tail, and reproduce his work, and since I've been searching for a source for west coast beats like a lot of the pioneers had on their early albums. everything always has these funky techno sounds and doesn't have the same funk and feeling as these guys just to name a few, but under ground west coast rappers had the product on lock down and has a loyal fan base not like the kiddy stuff that sells to the beeber fan club. but that production work is uniquick, and those who know especially the west knows, one man doesn't make up the rap game in cali, But where there is a will there is a way and even though I'm from the Northwest, west coast always has been my choice style of music, among the other legends like slick rick, eric b. and rakim, geto boys, red man, and wu-tang clan. I could roll with listening to them to name a few, but in my opinion and just being that, west coast rap went harder then, funkier than, and more real then most of the commercialized pop rappers, I can't not mention eightball and mjg, their days brought it in the south also. but that's what I'm looking to find if on line producers are trying to push west coast tracks, they need to step up their game, boss up, get in the kitchen with c-bo and produce those tracks like that soup that comes out so hard, you need a razor blade to chop it up. and you don't need to push that product Jack, because the product pushes itself. that's all I got to say about that
